While at The Company Store, an E-Commerce, bedding & house-wares site, I built a two-column CSS based “mega menu” or drop-down navigation menu. The menu and my code can still be seen on The Company Store’s website. The CSS and HTML code was achieved using CSS floats, descendant selectors, hover and absolute positioning.
I enjoyed this project because my colleague designed a beautiful looking menu, I got to use new (at the time) CSS techniques, and implementing the HTML & CSS within a DemandWare E-Commerce platform was challenging.
