This is a brochure design that I did while attending Shillington School of Graphic Design. The brief stipulated that we were to create a brochure promoting a Science Fiction Film Festival for the British Film Institute. The brochure was two-sided, with one side promoting the event title itself and the other side showcasing the films and a brief synopsis of each.
The inspiration behind my design was an early 80s, possibly late 70s, hand-held space invaders game I had as a child. For this brochure I created my own typeface to display the title of the event.
